Pocket Gophers
To General Exterminating home page
The pocket gopher is a rodent that is well adapted for its life underground.  It has very small eyes and ears and large claws on its powerful front legs and is tan to grey-brown in color.
The most common problem associated with gophers is the numerous  mounds they deposit. They feed on  roots or tubers of garden, ornamental or crop plants. Trapping is an  effective way to control gophers, however poisons can sometimes be necessary.
